•   children   :   Hemera Luar (Daughter)❝ + Personality : Being a half-voidsent, Nyx is a rather peculiar individual. He wouldn't consider himself as a 'good' person, nor would he call himself a 'bad' one. Instead, he's more of a man of action.
Nyx is not particularly arrogant and is mostly polite and easygoing. His main flaws come in the form of his decision making. At the end of the day, a monster is a monster, there's no changing that fact and Nyx makes that much evident. If something is being an annoyance to him and/or those he's close to? He will remove the problem in whichever way he deems fit.

❝Nyx Luar was born and raised in Hingashi, Kugane, a bustling center of trade which boasts a beautiful cityscape and serves as a den of espionage and political intrigue. Due to being born as a Voidsent, Nyx was sheltered from the harsh realities of the world by his loving mother, Aella, who raised him in a peaceful and harmonious home. As a child, Nyx continuously displayed a huge interest for the outside world, an interest to learn more about the world and everything it had to offer, as any child with growing curiosity would.Nyx's teenage years were his most rebellious. He would often ignore the words of his mother and often times found himself sneaking out to explore the the city. As the months went by, the voidsent's curiosity only grew more and more. Kugane was beautiful, but what more did the world have to offer? That question remained in the back of his mind for years until the day he became an adult. Aella realized that she could no longer keep Nyx up under her wing and relucantly, she would finally let go which marked the beginning of Nyx's journey across Eorzea. What would he see? Who would he come across? Only time would tell.

General Nyx Information:
- He's a scion. Story-wise, Nyx and Kalona (wife) are introduced in the latter half of ARR right after the Titan fight.
- Nyx is a half-voidsent. His mother is an Au'Ra, but his father on the other hand is the voidsent. An Incubus to be more specific and as far as his father goes, Nyx nor Aella knows what happened to him.
- His silver scales often causes others to confuse whether he's Xaela or Raen. He's also more closely aligned to dragons
- Nyx is not able to use any sort of healing magicks due to his aether. It would do more harm than good unfortunately.
- More longevity than immortality. So long as aether is surrounding him, Nyx can live through practically anything. If he does take some sort of blow that's meant to be fatal, it puts him into more of a vegetative state. (Can last between a few hours to days)
- Nyx has a daughter. She's his love and joy. Her name is Hemera
- In Heavensward, Kalona is killed in combat during the Nidhogg battle which in most storylines has Nyx take a leave until Stormblood where Zenos attacks. During Stormblood is also when Nyx really begins to give into his voidsent urges, acting more violent and cruel towards the enemies of himself and the other scions.
- His voidsent form is heavily inspired off of Elias from Ancient Magus Bride

▍ ❝   I.
In every verse for Nyx and his wife are Scions introduced at the beginning of Heavensward. His wife, however, is killed in battle by the claws of Nidhogg. Due to the loss of his wife, Nyx tends to spiral into more of a depressing state, only reappearing in story during Zenos' first attack in Stormblood. During the events of Stormblood is when most will be able to converse with Nyx and his daughter, getting to learn more about him if he decides to open up.
